The estate, also known as Lithology, is built around access to Beckstoffer heritage vineyards and a no-compromise approach to farming and barrel selection.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe flagship Estate Cabernet Sauvignon we carry is a tiny-production blend drawn roughly half from Beckstoffer To Kalon in Oakville and half from the home estate plus Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Las Piedras in St. Helena. Blended from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc and aged 22 months in mostly new French oak, it is a full-bodied, polished wine of creme de cassis, black raspberry, incense, new leather and chocolate.
