The blend is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, aged 18 months on its lees in 90% French oak, about a third new. Expect blackcurrant, wild berries and licorice accented by white pepper, savory fennel, sage and dried earth, with firm, fine tannins that carry a crushed-stone quality into bitter cooking chocolate on the finish.
