The wine is Cabernet Sauvignon from this single vineyard, fermented in small lots and aged in French and American oak, with a portion new, to add spice without masking the fruit, and bottled around 14.5% ABV. Expect a medium to full-bodied, fruit-driven style of black cherry, blackberry and plum with cedar, mocha and dried herbs, soft, rounded tannins and a juicy finish that makes it easy to open on a weeknight with grilled tri-tip, burgers, barbecue ribs or a wedge of sharp cheddar.
