The style is fruit-forward and refined: cherry and blackberry lead, with cedar, cocoa and a hint of dried herb, framed by soft, ripe tannins and a balanced, elegant finish. Wine Spectator rated a recent vintage 91 points, impressive for a Napa Cabernet at this level. It drinks well on release but has the structure to hold five to seven years.
