Critics have piled on: Jeb Dunnuck gave the 2023 Rutherford 96 points for its brilliant nose of ripe, chocolaty dark fruit, spice and loamy earth and a full-bodied, rich, polished palate he expects to age 15 to 20 years, while Robert Parker's Wine Advocate scored it 93-95 and called the Caterwaul line one of the valley's greatest values.
