The winery is now owned by the Adair family, who acquired it in 2024 and have refocused the program on estate farming in the warm northern end of the valley, where volcanic soils and hot days cooled by evening breezes give Cabernet Sauvignon ripe, generous fruit backed by firm structure. The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is the house's core red, blended principally from Cabernet with small amounts of Bordeaux varieties and aged in French oak barrels, a portion new, for well over a year before bottling at around 14.5% ABV. Expect a full-bodied, classically styled Napa Cabernet with black cherry, cassis, plum and blackberry, cedar and vanilla from the oak, a dusting of cocoa and dried herbs, and ripe, rounded tannins on a long finish.
