Rich Cook of Wine Review Online rated the 2017 Ely Napa Cabernet 94 points and the wine took a Platinum award at the 2020 Winemaker Challenge, describing a Cabernet for lovers of red fruit, with bright oak spice, vibrant acidity and a long finish that is more cherry than berry. The 2019 release follows the same profile: black cherry, cassis, plum and blackberry, dark chocolate, cedar and a touch of forest floor, with smooth tannins and a lingering finish.
