goldschmidt-vineyards-yoeman-vineyard-alexander-valley-cabernet-sauvignon
Goldschmidt Vineyards Yoeman Vineyard Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Goldschmidt Vineyards is the family winery of Nick and Yolyn Goldschmidt, New Zealanders whose winemaking careers brought them to Sonoma, where their children now work harvest and the cellar with them. Nick spent years as head winemaker at Simi before launching his own labels, and the Yoeman Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is one of his signature single-site wines. Yoeman is a small mountain vineyard just south of Geyserville in Alexander Valley: southeast-facing terraces of well-draining glacial loam where soft morning sun slows ripening and lengthens hang time, with two very old field selections adding cluster diversity and keeping yields very low. The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French oak, with the new oak seamlessly integrated into the fruit, and bottled around 14.5% ABV. Wine Enthusiast rated the current release 91 points, noting dusty cherry, blackberry and graphite; the winery describes a deep purple-garnet wine of black plum, blueberry and black cherry, layered dark fruit and spice with delicate floral notes, velvety tannins and vibrant acidity. Pair with a classic steak, roasted lamb or mushroom risotto. Vintages may vary; we ship the current release. 750ml bottle.

Buy Goldschmidt Vineyards Yoeman Vineyard Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon online with fast shipping right to your door.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0057/8089/7892/files/goldschmidt-vineyards-yoeman-vineyard-alexander-valley-cabernet-sauvignon_3c283c28-d6e2-4494-89c3-c749653fcb2a.jpg?v=1793371215
https://chipsliquor.com/products/goldschmidt-vineyards-yoeman-vineyard-alexander-valley-cabernet-sauvignon
