Owned by the Lawrence family since 2018 and made by winemaker Brittany Sherwood, Martha's Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon farmed organically on the western bench of Oakville, where bordering eucalyptus trees lend its signature mint and cedar character. The wine ages roughly a year in large American oak casks followed by about two and a half years in French Limousin barrels, then rests in bottle before release at 14.0% ABV. Wine Spectator rated the 2018 96 points for dark currant, cherry and loganberry under menthol, sweet tobacco and loam, with a 2026 to 2045 drinking window, while The Wine Advocate gave it 96+ and Vinous 94.
