Bottled at a restrained 13.5% alcohol, the 2021 earned 99 points from Decanter, which called it remarkably pure and fresh with pristine black cherry, blackberry, violets, and firm, mineral-rich tannins, plus 94 points each from James Suckling and Wine Spectator, which found red currant, plum, violet, tobacco, and singed cedar drinking through 2038.
