Herzog is the flagship of the Herzog family's Royal Wine Corp., the world's largest kosher wine producer, with winemaking roots that trace to 19th-century Central Europe and a California winery that opened in 1985. The wine is bottled at 14.0% ABV and is dry, with residual sugar under 2 g\/L, showing ripe blackberry and black cherry, plum, cocoa, vanilla and a touch of sweet spice over soft, round tannins and a smooth, medium to full-bodied finish.
