lost-lore-reposado-high-proof-tequila
Lost Lore Reposado High Proof Tequila

Lost Lore Reposado High Proof is the amped-up reposado from Lost Lore Tequila, the additive-free brand founded by Arturo Lomas III to revive a family distilling tradition that began with his great-grandfather in early-1900s Jalisco. It is made at Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados, NOM 1414, in Arandas in the southern Highlands, following the house process: fully mature Los Altos tequilana Weber agave cooked in stone and brick ovens, roller-mill extraction, deep-well water, open-air fermentation in stainless steel with champagne yeast and no fibers, and double distillation in copper pot stills. The reposado rests in American white oak barrels and is bottled at 49% ABV, 98 proof, well above the standard 40 percent reposado, with no additives, coloring or glycerin, so the extra proof carries the agave rather than sweetness. The producer describes roasted agave and baking spice on the nose, a full-bodied palate of cooked agave, cinnamon, black pepper and butterscotch with a touch of citrus zest, and a long, warming finish, and Tequila Matchmaker tasters land in the same place, scoring it in the high 80s to 90 with cooked agave, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and oak as the most-cited notes. A 750ml bottle for people who find most reposados too soft and want the barrel and the agave at full volume.

Buy Lost Lore Reposado High Proof Tequila online with fast shipping right to your door.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0057/8089/7892/files/lost-lore-reposado-high-proof-tequila_b8a5ed9a-ef27-4b4b-9171-a6dc614ebf69.jpg?v=1792174429
