The Tempranillo Cask is part of Paladar's wine-finished reposado series: the reposado is first rested in oak, then finished in American oak barrels that previously held Tempranillo, Spain's great red wine grape, and bottled at 40% ABV. The wine cask brings soft red fruit, a hint of tannin structure, and a gentle dryness that sits under the reposado's vanilla and caramel without pushing the agave out of the picture.
