The wine is aged about 20 months in French oak, the majority new, and bottled unfined at around 14.8% ABV in 750ml. Expect blackberry, black currant, violet and crushed rock with graphite, cedar and mocha, a dense, full-bodied palate with mountain tannins that are firm yet polished, and a long, savory finish built for 15 years of cellaring.
