The 2022 marries three clones from three top blocks of the vineyard, is essentially all Cabernet Sauvignon, and was aged 18 to 20 months in 100% new French oak before bottling at 15.3% ABV in 750ml. Jeb Dunnuck gave it 95 points for red and blue fruits, spring flowers, savory herbs and tobacco with ripe tannins and outstanding length; Decanter also scored it 95, praising bright cherry, violet and rose petal, ironstone minerality and a finish of wet slate and sagebrush; Wine Advocate rated it 94 and suggests drinking over the next decade.
