The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon draws on vineyards across the valley, including sites that supply the Alpha Omega program, and is aged in French oak barriques with a moderate share of new wood, bottled at around 14.5% ABV in 750ml. Expect blackberry, black cherry and cassis with cinnamon, anise and a lilac lift on the nose, a medium-full palate with ripe, rounded tannins and a clean, lifted finish that stays fresh rather than heavy. It is a serious Napa Cabernet at a Tuesday-night price. Serve with grilled flank steak, lamb burgers or mushroom pasta.
