The Reveries is the whiskey project of Jay West — known across the bourbon community as T8ke — launched in 2025 out of Middleburg, Virginia. West sources individual barrels from Kentucky and Indiana distillers, then ages them further in Virginia's own warmer, more humid climate, which the brand credits with pulling extra depth and complexity out of the wood faster than a traditional Kentucky rickhouse alone. Every release is bottled at true barrel strength, with no coloring, filtering, or additives, one cask at a time — meaning no two barrels are ever identical, and once a specific pick sells out, it's gone for good. Single barrel selections carry their own evocative names (Prime Pebbles, MUSE, Sinister Glee, and others), each with its own unique proof, age, and mashbill. The brand also runs a "Rare Release" blended series, starting with Raven, a tribute to Edgar Allan Poe built from a blend of 9-to-14-year Kentucky and Indiana bourbons.
