The Harvest Blend is Dos Artes' seasonal Reserva Especial — an añejo blended for fall and winter 2023 from harvest-timed casks, in a limited hand-painted liter. Dos Artes means two arts — the tequila and the bottle — and every ceramic is painted by Mexican artisans over a three-day process, so no two are alike; the tequila is 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave from Jalisco, and the Reserva Especial line is the house's step-up añejo, aged in American and French oak with a virgin French oak finish. The Harvest Blend is a one-season añejo built on that program — casks selected to mark the fall-winter 2023 harvest — bottled at 40% ABV in a limited hand-painted one-liter decanter; check your bottle for the blend's specifics. Del Mesa's read on the Reserva Especial: caramel, vanilla, and toffee on the nose, cooked agave and oak with caramel, vanilla, and toffee on the palate, the smoothest they've had. Expect a rounded, sweet palate of butterscotch, toffee, cooked agave, and toasted oak with a cedar-and-clove grip from the French wood and a long, smooth finish.
