Distilled and bottled entirely on-site in Bardstown, Kentucky, this limited edition bourbon originates from seed to glass: featuring a custom-selected corn varietal (Beck’s 6225) paired with a bold 52 % corn / 35 % rye / 13 % malted barley mash bill, aged six to seven years in rare Chinquapin oak, and bottled at 105 proof (52.5% ABV). The influence of Chinquapin oak — known for higher vanillin content and deeper nutty-sweet character — is evident from the first pour: aromas of toasted hazelnut, cedar, and brown sugar lead into a palate of maple syrup, caramelized pecan, vanilla bean, and rich oak spice.
