Nc'nean Aon Single Cask 18-405 Cask Strength Organic Highland Single Malt Scotch
Nc'nean Aon Single Cask 18-405 is an exclusive single-cask bottling from Scotland's only fully organic whisky distillery, founded in 2017 by Annabel Thomas on the remote Morvern peninsula in the West Highlands. Aon, Gaelic for "one," is the distillery's single cask series, and this cask, filled in 2018 during Nc'nean's second year of distilling, was bottled exclusively for US importer ImpEx, yielding just 244 bottles.
Bottled at a natural cask strength of 118 proof (59% ABV), non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, in a 700mL bottle of 100% recycled glass, it shows Nc'nean's bright, fruity organic spirit at full intensity: orchard fruit, honey, vanilla and citrus on the nose, then a rich, creamy palate of baked fruit, malt, toffee and gentle oak spice, finishing long and warming with a splash of water unlocking further layers. A genuine rarity for collectors of new-wave Scotch and a distinctive gift.
