Nc'nean Huntress Orchard Cobbler is a limited annual release from Scotland's only fully organic whisky distillery, founded in 2017 by Annabel Thomas on the remote Morvern peninsula. The Huntress series celebrates the distillery's namesake Gaelic queen of the spirits with a bottling that is made only once a year, during the week when the stillhouse switches between its two distillation recipes, so it can never be exactly repeated.
Because cut points are adjusted during that transition, the spirit is loaded with fruity esters, so fruity the team named it after a favorite dessert. Bottled at 97 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, it bursts with baked apple and pear, cinnamon-sugar pastry, peach and honey, with a creamy, biscuity palate and a fresh, fruit-laden finish. Packaged in Nc'nean's 100% recycled glass with striking illustrated artwork, it is a collector's bottle and a joyful gift for the dessert lover.
