Description: Introducing our limited-edition aged Demerara rum, crafted by Demerara Distillers Limited, the last remaining distillery in Guyana. This exceptional blend combines column and pot still rums distilled from molasses using DDL’s Enmore wooden Coffey still (EHP), Port Mourant wooden vat still (PM), Versailles wooden vat still (REV), and Diamond Coffey stills (SVW).

Aged for 18 years, including 15 years in ex-bourbon casks and an additional 3 years in Oloroso sherry-seasoned ex-bourbon casks, this rum offers confectionary aromas of French raspberry tart, golden syrup, cinnamon, clove, and reduced apple cider. The palate reveals notes of tinder box, Golden Delicious apple, and sweet brioche, finishing with delicate tannins. 

At 40% ABV, this special release begins with El Dorado’s Special Reserve 15 Year Rum, double matured for an extra 3 years in Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a rum that perfectly captures the warming aromas of fall.
