Arette is one of the few brands still made in the town of Tequila itself, at NOM 1109, where the Orendain family began distilling in the early 1900s; brothers Eduardo and Jaime Orendain, fifth-generation master distillers, run it today. Gran Clase is 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave, selected nearly over-ripe for maximum sugar, cooked in stone ovens, fermented naturally in stone tanks to develop a deep sweetness, double-distilled, and aged four years in first-fill ex-bourbon oak, bottled at 40% ABV, additive-free, in the tall Artesanal bottle.
