Old Corn is an eight-year-old corn whiskey bottled at 90 proof.
Eight years is a long time for corn whiskey, a category usually sold young, and the age shows. Bender's describes sweet corn, orange creamsicle, vanilla and a hint of oak on the nose, butterscotch, oak spice, orange peel and toffee on the palate, and a finish of baking spice and rancio, the nutty, oxidized note usually found in old Cognac.
