The "Aultmore-Glenlivet" name on the label is the distillery's old-fashioned styling, a nod to the days when Speyside distilleries borrowed the Glenlivet name as a mark of quality. Cadenhead's, Scotland's oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842, has been bottling single casks like this since before most brands existed.
Bottled at 92 proof, non-chill-filtered and without added color, it captures Aultmore's clean, grassy Speyside style: green apple, honey, cereal and a light floral note, with eleven years of oak adding vanilla and soft spice.
