Flor de Luna, a pioneering micro-distillery founded in Mexico City in 2015 with a five-woman crew led by Maestra Destiladora Hillhamn Salome, formulated it to celebrate Mexico's flora and the traditional cleansing ceremonies they're used in: herbs to clear negative energy, flowers to attract love, resins to expand consciousness. The botanicals read like an altar — palo santo and myrrh, the sacred Mexican resins; sage, rosemary, and cedrón (lemon verbena); jasmine, elderflower, and lavender; lime and orange peel; and juniper and coriander for structure — all Mexican-sourced, bottled at 43% ABV as a Mexico City Extra Dry.
