Domaine de Canton is the premium French ginger liqueur, created in 2007 by John Cooper of the Cooper Spirits family and made in the Cognac region. Fresh baby Vietnamese ginger is infused into fine eaux-de-vie and blended with VSOP and XO cognac, Tahitian vanilla, Provençal honey and a touch of Tunisian ginseng, then bottled in a distinctive bamboo-shaped 750ml bottle at 28% ABV.
The taste is bright, fresh ginger, spicy and warming, balanced by honey and vanilla sweetness and the rich depth of cognac, with a long, clean finish. Serve it chilled or over ice, top it with sparkling wine for a Canton Royale, mix it with vodka and lime for a ginger mule, add it to a whiskey sour or a hot toddy, or splash it into iced tea.
