Edmond Briottet Crème de Framboise is a raspberry liqueur from Briottet, the family house founded in Dijon, Burgundy, in 1836 and best known for its crème de cassis. Ripe raspberries are macerated in alcohol to capture their color, perfume and flavor, then sweetened with sugar in the classic crème de fruits style, with no artificial flavors. Bottled at 18% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The taste is intense, fresh raspberry with a bright, jammy sweetness and a clean, fruity finish. Use it in a Kir Royale in place of cassis, top it with soda or sparkling wine for a spritz, shake it into a Clover Club or a gin sour, add a splash to a French Martini, or pour it over ice cream and berries.
