Edmond Briottet Crème de Mûre is a blackberry liqueur from Briottet, the family house founded in Dijon, Burgundy, in 1836 and best known for its crème de cassis. It is made with an ultra-high-quality natural blackberry flavoring and colored with anthocyanins from grape skins, giving it an intense, deep purple hue and a true wild-blackberry taste. Bottled at 18% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The taste is ripe, juicy blackberry with a bramble-hedge freshness, balanced sweetness and a smooth, fruity finish. It is the essential liqueur for a Bramble (gin, lemon, sugar and a drizzle of mûre over crushed ice), and it is lovely in a Kir Royale, topped with soda for a spritz, or in a whiskey sour.
