Fernet Leopold Highland Amaro is a 750ml American fernet from Leopold Bros., the family distillery in Denver, Colorado founded by brothers Todd and Scott Leopold. Rather than copying the Italian formula, they built a fernet around Rocky Mountain flavors, with more than 20 botanicals in the mix.
Bitter aloe and spearmint lead the way, creating a cooling, sweet menthol sensation backed by plenty of warmth, with rose, honeysuckle, elderflower and dried fruit adding softness underneath.
