Golden Moon Amer dit Picon is a 750ml, 39% ABV French-style bitter orange amer from Golden Moon Distillery in Golden, Colorado. Founder Stephen Gould recreated the original processes and sourced the original type of ingredients used by legendary distiller Gaëtan Picon to create his amer in the 1830s, giving American bartenders a faithful stand-in for the hard-to-find original.
Made with hand-selected herbs, spices and botanicals, it is bittersweet with orange peel, gentian and caramel depth. It is the essential ingredient for the Picon Punch and the Brittany cocktail, and it also sips nicely on its own.
