Kuleana Rum Works was founded in 2013 in Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii, growing forty varieties of heirloom sugarcane on a zero-waste, solar-irrigated farm and pressing it fresh for its agricole; Huihui is its blended white, built for the cocktail glass. It's a three-part marriage: a light molasses rum from Papua New Guinea as the base, Kuleana's own Hawaiian Rum Agricole from fresh cane juice for body, and an exceptional Martinique agricole as the accent, all unaged, bottled at 40% ABV with no sugar, color, or flavoring. Kuleana's notes: tropical fruit, fresh-pressed sugarcane, caramelized sugar, vanilla, and key lime.
