Krogstad Festlig Aquavit is a 750ml, 80-proof Scandinavian-style aquavit from House Spirits Distillery in Portland, Oregon, the makers of Aviation Gin. Created by Christian Krogstad in honor of his Norwegian heritage, it is one of the first American craft aquavits and a bartender favorite.
Distilled with caraway and star anise, it is clean, crisp and unaged, with bright spice, a hint of licorice and a smooth finish. Serve it ice-cold in a small glass with smoked fish or a Scandinavian spread, or use it in an aquavit sour, a Bloody Mary or a Nordic twist on a martini.
