Lucano Amaro Anniversario is a 750ml, 34% ABV prestige amaro from Amaro Lucano of Pisticci in Basilicata, the family company founded by pastry chef Cavalier Pasquale Vena in 1894. Created to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the company, it is developed from one of Pasquale Vena's old recipes and blends more than 30 herbs.
Richer, deeper and more complex than the classic Lucano, it shows dark herbs, orange peel, warm spice and a long, elegant bittersweet finish at a slightly higher strength. Sip it neat or on the rocks as a digestif, or use it as a luxurious modifier in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
