Salcombe Gin Rosé Sainte Marie is the pink gin from Salcombe Distilling Co. in Devon, England, one of the world's only distilleries you can reach directly by boat. Inspired by the French Riviera, it layers fresh strawberries, rose petals, orange blossom, fresh lemon, orange peel, lemon verbena and pink peppercorn over Macedonian juniper and angelica, with three further secret botanicals, and is bottled at 41.4% ABV (82.8 proof).
Drinkhacker rated it an A-, describing rose and orange blossom dominating the aroma, a palate that balances florals and fruit while keeping subtle juniper, and lemon and spice building to a gentle, sweet finish with lingering potpourri, and found it excellent with tonic or neat. It is a dry pink gin rather than a sweet one, which makes it a superb G&T with a strawberry and a grind of pink pepper, and a beautiful French 75.
