St. George Terroir Gin
St. George Terroir Gin is a bottled walk through the coastal forests of Marin County, made by St. George Spirits in Alameda, California. Its twelve botanicals are led by Douglas fir, California bay laurel and coastal sage, with fennel, juniper, coriander and citrus, and it is bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof).
Drinkhacker rated it an A (9.5/10), calling it a well-rounded and wholly affordable gin that works in anything you could envision for it, with a refreshing, clean nose of bay leaf and mild juniper, lemon and lime and a subtle smokiness, then fresh bay, juniper, pepper, coriander and cardamom on the palate and an evergreen, fruity finish. It is one of the great American gins: superb in a Martini with a twist, a G&T with a sprig of rosemary, or a Negroni. A California classic made a few hundred miles up the coast from Chips Liquor.
