Where the standard TINCUP is a young, spicy blend, this expression is bourbon distilled in Indiana and aged a full ten years in new charred oak before being cut with Rocky Mountain water and bottled at 84 proof.
The extra years bring deeper oak, dried fruit and toffee to the caramel-and-spice profile, with a longer, drier finish. It is a sipping whiskey at a price well below most ten-year bourbons, and it makes an excellent Old Fashioned or Manhattan where the oak can carry the drink.
