Description: To uncover the true essence of Dutch distilled spirits, we went back to the original distillation techniques of the 16th century, resulting in a full-bodied flavor that transports you back to the early days of genever. This noble spirit, which became popular during the Dutch golden age, traveled the world on Dutch VOC ships and eventually evolved into gin when it reached England.
Our malt genever has a unique combination of juniper berries that are distilled in copper stills, along with a generous amount of malt spirit made with corn, wheat, and rye, giving it a characteristic powerful kick. It is aged in Oloroso sherry casks to add depth of flavor, and infused with botanical extracts like caraway, fennel, and sweet woodruff for a smooth taste.
