Giffard Crème de Framboise is a raspberry liqueur from Giffard, the family distillery founded in Angers, France in 1885 and a bartender favorite worldwide. It is made by infusing raspberries for a deep red liqueur with orange and amber shades.
The nose is slightly spicy and true to the fruit, with powerful aromas that recall blackcurrant and gooseberry. The palate is bright and dynamic with a pleasant peppery edge, very fruity with blackberry, blackcurrant and small tart red fruits, and a long, aromatic finish faithful to the berry. Use it in Clover Clubs, French martinis, raspberry Kir Royales and sours.
