Grace Gin is a unique handcrafted gin from Greece, the result of a shared vision between three women: two second-generation distillers and a spirited industry veteran. It is built on a classic base of juniper, angelica root, orris, lemon and orange peel, cardamom, coriander and cassia bark, then given a Greek finishing touch of schinos (mastic), myrtle leaves, orange blossom, critamos (sea fennel) and pink pepper.
On the nose it is juniper-driven with notes of pink pepper, then an oily, robust palate where juniper and the saline, herbal critamos come immediately to the fore, a perfect match for the spicy character of coriander, pink pepper and cassia, intensely fresh with earthy elements and a long finish. Bottled at 91.6 proof and presented in an elegant bottle, it makes a superb Mediterranean Gin and Tonic with a sprig of rosemary and a standout Negroni. A distinctive gin with real Greek terroir.
