This double-distilled single malt spends ten years in bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks, and is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) without chill filtration.
The additional time in sherry casks imparts extra depth and the typical sherry notes of gentle sweetness and spice: dried fruit, raisin and toasted nut on the nose, a rich palate of honey, ripe fruit and warm oak, and a long, softly spiced finish. It is a sipping whiskey, best neat or with a splash of water.
