Kasama x Natori is a limited-edition bottle created by two Filipino-founded brands: Kasama Rum, started by Alexandra Dorda, and the fashion house Natori, founded by Josie Natori. Released for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the bottle is wrapped in Natori's signature Chikayo print, a pattern of lush vines and tropical flowers that the house reissued to mark its 45th anniversary. Dorda said she had worn and admired Natori for twelve years before the collaboration, and 25% of proceeds from the launch went to Voice of the Free, a Philippine organization fighting human trafficking. Inside is Kasama's rum: made from the fresh juice of noble sugarcane grown in the Philippines, aged seven years in ex-bourbon American oak in the tropical heat of the islands, and then bottled at the Dorda family distillery in Poland with no additives, sweeteners, or flavoring. Kasama describes sweet pineapple, a hint of vanilla, and a touch of sea salt. Kasama means "together" in Tagalog. A collector's bottle and an easy gift, but also a very good light aged rum for daiquiris or sipping over ice.
