Breckenridge Distillery sits at 9,600 feet in the Rocky Mountains, the highest distillery in the world, and blends its high-rye bourbon with pure snowmelt water before finishing.
The tawny port casks add the aroma and flavor of sultana raisin and maple syrup, rounding out and softening the bourbon's naturally spicy finish while its caramel and vanilla core stays intact. It is finished in small 8-to-10-barrel batches whenever superior port casks become available, so each release is a unique expression unto itself.
