Warners Elderflower Gin

Elderflower was one of Warner's earliest flavored expressions, first produced in 2013 — and it's a natural fit, since elderflower already appears as a botanical in the distillery's flagship Harrington Dry Gin. This version doubles down: fresh elderflower is harvested by hand from hedgerows around Harrington in Northamptonshire and from Rhuallt in North Wales, then infused into the Harrington Dry base, with spring water from the farm's own borehole and a touch of sugar added after infusion. Bottled at 40% ABV, and unlike the naturally pink rhubarb and raspberry expressions, this one stays crystal clear. Expect delicate, lychee-like floral elderflower on the nose alongside cracked black pepper and citrus, opening into a lightly sweet palate where the elderflower amplifies into lime cordial brightness, with pine from the juniper and a strong coriander influence underneath, finishing lightly spiced with coriander, pine, and black pepper. It's the gentlest and most floral bottle in Warner's range — softer than Harrington Dry, less fruit-driven than the berry expressions. Excellent with a good tonic and a slice of lemon, or in a spritz with sparkling wine.
