Pusser's holds the rights to the original Admiralty blending recipe, and this expression is bottled at 54.5% ABV — the true Royal Navy strength, matching the specification last used before the daily tot ended on July 31, 1970, a day sailors still call Black Tot Day. A blend of column and pot still Guyanese and Trinidadian rums aged in ex-bourbon barrels, blended to Admiralty specification, with a portion of every bottle going to the Royal Navy Sailors' Fund.
