Product Type: Liqueur
Size: 750mL
Description: Pampleau is a grapefruit aperitif wine made in Portland, Oregon that is inspired by the traditional French vin de pamplemousse, a type of white wine that is infused with citrus and vanilla. It is created using Sauvignon Blanc as the base, which is fortified and aged with hand-cut grapefruit and other seasonal citrus for up to six weeks. This gives the wine a pithy, juicy flavor. After aging, the wine is then infused with a selection of botanicals from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, including Tahitian vanilla, chamomile, and gentian, which give it a unique aroma. Pampleau has a sweet, grassy scent, a bittersweet and juicy flavor, and a long-lasting, herbal finish. It is a versatile and sophisticated wine that is also easy to drink and enjoy.
