Alpha Omega was founded in Rutherford in 2006 by Robin and Michelle Baggett with a clear mission: combine Old World, terroir-first vineyard practices with New World precision in the cellar. Michel Rolland consulted during the winery's formative years, and today head winemaker Melissa Paris, promoted in 2024, leads the program from the estate on Highway 29, which has become one of Napa Valley's most visited tasting rooms.

The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is Alpha Omega's flagship blend, assembled from mountain, hillside and valley-floor vineyards across Oakville, Rutherford, Oak Knoll and Atlas Peak. Lots are typically fermented half in new French oak barriques and half in stainless steel, then aged about 18 months in French oak with roughly a third new barrels, keeping the fruit forward and the oak in a supporting role. Expect a deep ruby wine with dark cherry, plum, cassis and violet, a polished medium-to-full body, fine chalky tannin and savory notes of leather and anise.
