Rare Character Whiskey Company is an independent bottler founded in 2021 by Pablo Moix and Peter Nevenglosky. Moix buys single barrels from distilleries, brokers, and investors selling off parcels and bottles them one at a time at barrel proof with no blending; a label code identifies the distillate, and Pride of Anderson County is sourced from Wild Turkey. Sub-brands include the Single Barrel Series, Exceptional Series, Brook Hill, and Old Cassidy, plus retailer private selections where the store picks the barrel. At Chips Liquor we carry two of our own picks, Rare Character Single Barrel - Chips Liquor Private Selection and Rare Character Cask Strength Rye Single Barrel - Momma's / Del Mesa / Chip's Private Selection, alongside Rare Character Brook Hill 15 Year Bourbon Whiskey, Rare Character Brook Hill "Scarlet" 9 Year Bourbon Whiskey, Rare Character Old Cassidy 2025 Release Bourbon Whiskey, Rare Character Pride of Anderson County Bourbon Whiskey, Rare Character Exceptional Series E-WB Wheated Bourbon Whiskey, and Rare Character Hurst Knoll 7 Year Old Rye Whiskey. Every bottle is allocated; the barrels will not be repeated. Pour neat, add water slowly. Browse our full Rare Character collection with fast nationwide shipping delivered straight to your door.
