Calico House is a small American independent bottler, operating as Calico House Bottling Co., that was introduced to the wider market by Seelbach's in late 2025. Rather than a house whiskey, it hunts for barrels with unusual production stories, often the harder narratives that stay behind the scenes at a distillery, and bottles them one cask or one small batch at a time in 700ml bottles.

Its first releases show the approach. A Dancing Goat Distillery high-rye bourbon from Cambridge, Wisconsin was aged in a virgin French oak barrel coopered from 100-year-old trees, then proofed down 70 milliliters of water a day to 122 proof. A wheated bourbon from Black Frost Distilling in New Ulm, Minnesota, made from grain, water, yeast and oak all sourced within 180 miles and fermented open-top for seven days, was bottled at 109 proof. Both are unfiltered.

The range also reaches beyond whiskey: Calico House selected a single 24-year-old cask of Calvados from Domaine de Merval, a working agricultural estate and teaching distillery in Normandy's Pays de Bray, bottled at 98 proof.
