The Faust Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon builds on that Coombsville estate fruit with lots from Rutherford, Oakville and other districts, aged roughly 20 months in French oak with about a quarter new to keep the focus on fruit and site. It shows red and dark fruit over crushed stone, dried herbs, tobacco and chocolate with a succulent, mineral finish, and recent vintages have earned up to 96 points from James Suckling.
